George Lois: Damn Good Advice from an Advertising Icon

        (from NPR.org)

Great interview this morning on NPR with George Lois, one of the greatest art directors/ad men of all time. Have a listen here. He has a new book out called Damn Good Advice (for people with talent!) which I may read if I decide I do in fact have talent. Lois is full of great stories and the few he tells in this NPR clip are brilliant. Check it out and then check out the documentary Art & Copy which is a powerful look at creativity and advertising featuring Lois among many others like Lee Clow, Cliff Freeman, Jeff Goodby, Hal Riney, Rich Silverstein, Mary Wells, Dan Wieden and so on.
