GSD&M
LOVE

This holiday greeting was created with love, courage, one of the world’s biggest hearts, and a man’s mouth. In other words, it was created by our beloved Jared Dunten. Jared paints holding the brush in his mouth. He was paralyzed from the neck down in a diving accident on the Rio Grande when he was starting out as a young copywriter. Our founding partners and the entire GSD&M family rallied to help Jared keep working and moving forward. Today, his work hangs in concert halls, universities, galleries, and private collections and he still finds time to help us write ads. He lives just outside Austin with his wife and two sons. You can find out more about his life and activism here. The most stunning thing about Jared’s work is the moment that brush comes out of his mouth and you see that smile. We wish you those kinds of smiles this holiday season.
