In February, GSD&M helped launch a multi-platform marketing relationship between Sysco Corporation, Food Network, its popular “Restaurant: Impossible” show and celebrity Chef Robert Irvine, a Sysco fan and customer since 1997. As Sysco’s first branded media integration in its 44 year history, the Food Network partnership sets out to highlight the brand’s commitment to helping restaurants become more successful, much like what Chef Irvine does in each show.
Co-branded spots featuring Chef Irvine will run during the show and as pre-roll and display banners on Scripps network of food sites like FoodNetwork.com, TravelChannel.com, among others. In addition, Sysco will offer a custom sweepstakes in which the winner is given a trip for two to the Food Network Food & Wine Festival in New York as well as a meet and greet with Chef Irvine. All work will run throughout 2013.
