There’s a saying in Austin (kind of all over Texas really) that goes, “If you don’t like the weather, wait ten minutes.” Those coming to Austin for SXSW this year will be treated to some good old fashioned Texas weather madness. The first few days of SXSWi and Film will be cold and rainy. Then Monday hits with sun and warmth just in time for our big The Industry Party. Then rain for the music portion of SXSW. So, pack like your traveling the world: warm clothes, cool clothes and rain clothes. Oh, and if the sky suddenly turns green, don’t panic. That’s normal for here. It just means a crazy thunderstorm is about to let loose. But only for ten minutes.
