~Hale to drive agency’s digital design practice~
AUSTIN, TX — February 3, 2015 — GSD&M announced today that it has hired Melvin Hale as its first visual design director. As VP/Visual Design Director, Hale will look to drive and elevate the agency’s digital design function; bringing his keen eye for intuitive, emotive design to help create impactful, iconic work for GSD&M’s roster of clients.

Hale comes to GSD&M from Mobiquity in Atlanta, where he served as creative director and worked with brands such as FedEx, HP and Chick-fil-A. Hale’s award-winning design career has also featured stints at Oracle, Razorfish, Ogilvy, Sapient Nitro and R/GA where he crafted designs for clients including HBO, Nike, Coca-Cola, Mastercard and Chanel.
