Art director and designer Chris Bilheimer has created some of the most iconic and easily recognized music packaging and rock poster designs, in a career that has spanned more than two decades and shows no sign of letting up. Now living and working in Austin, he takes time out from juggling his latest projects to invite us into his studio. He gives thought to how interactivity and tactile experience feeds design, the importance of being timeless and saying the most with the least amount of words.
