GSD&M Takes Home Three National ADDY Awards

GSD&M took home three ADDY Awards at the national ceremony for its work with Avocados from Mexico, Southwest Airlines and RAM Trucks.

Avocados from Mexico’s “Utopia” won Gold in Regional/National TV Commercials, depicting a perfect world that turns to chaos without chips for guacamole, later resolved by the revelation that avocados taste good on literally everything. We’d like an avocado with our Gold ADDY.

Southwest Airlines’ beloved Wanna Get Away campaign’s latest spot, “Mastermind,” took home Silver in Regional/National TV Commercials. The spot follows a waiter’s humiliating moment in the face of a powerful mastermind and his posse, and his inevitable need to get away from the situation, and fast. Lucky for him, Southwest can make that happen.

RAM Trucks’ “School Talk” won Silver in Social Media for a Single Execution for its Father’s Day–esque spot that gives just a glimpse of the love and care that is fatherhood and raising capable, respectful children. Here’s to making the next generation better.

It is always a privilege to be honored by the American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards. They represent the industry’s largest competition and reward creativity and excellence in the world of advertising. There were more than 35,000 entries this year, and we are honored to bring one of our industry’s highest recognitions.
